Chief Executive Officer & Principal
Mr. Hardy is Expert Paralegals’ Chief Executive Officer. His mission is to provide the highest possible level of service to institutional and individual clients alike.
Soon after Muhammad Ali petitioned the Wharton School for him to be granted a leave of absence so that he could serve as Ali’s Official Chinese Translator and Interpreter for his famous 1985 goodwill trip to China, Mr. Hardy enjoyed a Hall of Fame–worthy career fighting first out of the Kronk Boxing Team in Detroit alongside Tommy Hearns, then out of Madison Square Garden—initially as “The Fighting Stockbroker” and later as “The Hedge Fund Heavyweight.” He spent some thirty years as one of Ali’s closest friends and advisors, until the time of Ali’s death.
Because of Ali’s influence, Hardy is the only man in history to have boxed professionally after earning an MBA from the Wharton School and a Master’s Degree in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania’s Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies MBA/MA dual-degree program, where he was its first-ever African-American Fellow and its youngest-ever Fellow. He created his own executive-education program at Wharton, B.I.C.E.P.S.—the Business Institute for Continuing Education in Professional Sports—which has since become the Official Business Education Program of the NFL and NFLPA as taught at Harvard, Stanford, Northwestern’s Kellogg School, and Wharton. Among other languages, he speaks, reads, and writes Chinese and Spanish with native fluency.
